About Consultation
Not sure what a mark on your skin is, or whether it can be removed? A skin lesion consultation with Cinzia, who has more than 25 years' experience in advanced skin treatments, is the place to start. She'll look closely at the blemish, ask about how long you've had it and whether it has changed, and explain the options.
Common, harmless blemishes such as thread veins, blood spots and skin tags can often be treated with advanced electrolysis. Anything that looks unusual, has changed, or can't be confidently identified is referred to your GP or a dermatologist for medical assessment — your safety comes first, and nothing is treated without that confidence.

Key Benefits
- 01Expert assessment of a blemish before any treatment
- 02Clear explanation of what it is likely to be and the options
- 03Honest advice — including when to see your GP or a dermatologist
- 04A treatment plan and price if it's suitable to treat
- 05Advice on aftercare and sun protection
Is this treatment right for me?
A consultation suits anyone with a blemish they'd like assessed or removed. It is not a medical diagnosis — any lesion of concern is referred for medical assessment.
You may be suitable if…
- You have a blemish you'd like identified and possibly removed
- You want to know whether advanced electrolysis is suitable
- You'd like advice on several blemishes at once
- You're unsure whether something should be seen by a doctor
Your consultation will consider…
- How long you've had the blemish and whether it has changed
- Its size, shape, colour and texture
- Your medical history and skin type
- Whether medical assessment is needed first
What to expect
Before treatment
No preparation is needed. If you can, note when you first noticed the blemish and any changes — photos over time are helpful.
During treatment
Cinzia examines the blemish in good light, asks about its history and explains what she sees. If it's suitable for treatment, she'll recommend the right approach and session length; if not, she'll explain why and where to go next.
After treatment
You leave with a clear plan — a treatment booking, advice to monitor the area, or a recommendation to see your GP or a dermatologist.
Results & longevity
The consultation itself doesn't change the skin, but it gives you clarity: what the blemish is likely to be, whether it can be safely treated, and the expected result and number of sessions if it can.
Recovery, side effects & aftercare
There's no recovery — a consultation is an assessment only.
Side effects
None.
Aftercare
If you're advised to monitor a blemish, take a clear photo every few weeks and see your GP promptly if it changes in size, shape or colour, bleeds or itches.
Please contact the clinic or your GP if a blemish changes, bleeds without injury, becomes itchy or painful, or looks different from your other moles or marks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. It's an expert skin assessment. Anything that looks unusual or has changed is referred to your GP or a dermatologist for medical diagnosis.
Can I have a blemish removed on the same day?
If it's clearly suitable and time allows, possibly — but many people prefer to plan treatment after the consultation. Cinzia will advise.
What can advanced electrolysis treat?
Common, benign blemishes such as thread veins, blood spots and skin tags. Moles are not removed — see Mole Assessment Information.
Should I see my GP instead?
If a mark is new, changing, bleeding, itchy or looks different from your others, see your GP first. Cinzia will always recommend medical assessment when it's needed.
Can several blemishes be looked at?
Yes — let us know when you book so enough time is allowed.
