About Seventy Hyal
Seventy Hyal 2000 is a next-generation skin booster with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, designed to hydrate the skin deeply and stimulate collagen and elastin. It shares Profhilo's philosophy — improving skin quality rather than adding volume — with a slightly different formulation that some people find gives a particularly plump, dewy finish.
It's injected at a small number of points across the face (or neck, décolletage and hands) and spreads through the tissue over the following days.

Key Benefits
- 01Intense hydration for dull or dry skin
- 02Boosts collagen and elastin for firmer skin
- 03Smooths fine lines and improves texture
- 04A plump, dewy finish
- 05Quick appointment with few injection points
- 06Works well on the neck, décolletage and hands
Is this treatment right for me?
Seventy Hyal suits people looking to improve hydration, texture and firmness, and those who want an alternative to Profhilo. John will help you choose between the two based on your skin and what you'd like to achieve.
You may be suitable if…
- Your skin feels dry, dull or lacking bounce
- You'd like to improve fine lines and texture
- You want a natural glow rather than a change in shape
- You're not pregnant or breastfeeding
Your consultation will consider…
- Skin hydration, texture, fine lines and laxity
- Which product best matches your skin and goals
- The number of sessions and spacing for a proper course
- Your medical history, allergies and any recent treatments
What to expect
Before treatment
Your consultation with John looks at skin quality — hydration, fine lines, laxity and texture — and your goals, and checks your medical history. Skin boosters are a course rather than a one-off, so you'll leave with a plan for the number and spacing of sessions. For a few days before, avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen and supplements such as fish oil where safe to do so, as they increase bruising.
During treatment
After numbing cream, John places a small number of injections at set points across the treatment area. Each leaves a temporary bump that settles within hours. The appointment takes around 20–30 minutes.
After treatment
Small bumps at the injection points settle over a few hours. The hydrating and firming effect develops gradually over the following weeks rather than straight away.

Results & longevity
Skin usually feels more hydrated within one to two weeks, with improvements in firmness and glow building over four to six weeks. A course of two sessions around four weeks apart gives the best result, and results typically last around six months before a maintenance session. Your skin condition, age and lifestyle all affect longevity.
Recovery, side effects & aftercare
Very little downtime — small bumps and possibly a little redness at the injection points for a few hours. Most people go straight back to their day.
Side effects
Small raised bumps at the injection points are expected and usually flatten within hours; occasionally they take a day or two. Redness, tenderness and small bruises are common and short-lived. Uncommon effects include a lump that persists longer, mild infection, or an allergic-type reaction. Because these products are hyaluronic acid or naturally derived, serious reactions are rare.
Aftercare
Leave the injection points alone for the rest of the day — no make-up, no touching or massaging unless John has asked you to. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam and alcohol for 24 hours, and stay out of strong sun. Keep the skin well moisturised and use SPF daily; it protects the result.
Please contact the clinic if you notice spreading redness, increasing pain, a lump that grows rather than settles, or any skin colour change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Seventy Hyal or Profhilo?
Both hydrate and stimulate collagen. They differ slightly in formulation and feel; John will recommend whichever suits your skin, and you may prefer one after trying both.
How many sessions?
Usually two, about four weeks apart, then maintenance every six months or so.
Will it add volume?
No — it improves skin quality. For shape or volume, dermal fillers are the right treatment.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first. Each injection is a brief sting, and most people find the treatment very tolerable.
When can I wear make-up?
The next day. Keep the injection points clean and uncovered for the rest of the treatment day.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes — skin boosters work well alongside anti-wrinkle treatment, fillers and microneedling. John will suggest sensible spacing.
What happens at the consultation?
John assesses your skin, discusses what you'd like to improve, checks your medical history and recommends the product and course that fits — with clear pricing before anything is booked.
