Introducing Katrina Edwards, BSc, MSc – Independent Nurse Prescriber
We’re pleased to welcome Katrina Edwards to the Trusted Touch Aesthetics team. As a fully qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber with both a BSc and MSc in nursing, Katrina brings a wealth of clinical experience and a passion for patient safety.
From 1 June 2025, new UK regulations require all prescription-only aesthetic treatments—such as anti-wrinkle injections (commonly known as Botox)—to be prescribed only after a face-to-face consultation with a registered prescriber. These changes are designed to ensure a higher standard of care, with personalised assessments and clearer prescribing protocols.
Katrina will be available on-site to conduct these mandatory consultations, ensuring we remain fully compliant with the latest guidance while continuing to deliver safe, effective, and expertly tailored treatments.
Her presence also allows us to streamline your journey—from consultation to treatment—with the added confidence of clinical oversight every step of the way.
